My friend roxymissrose asked me to create a few chapter headers for her wonderful story Lodi. Thank you for trusting me with your fic, Roxy. I hope I did justice to it. 

I started making the headers based on what the chapter spoke to me about. I picked out certain pointers that gives a glimpse into the chapter. This post contains spoilers for the story, so it is advised to read the story before you check out the headers given below. 

1. They strolled into the town of Lodi, woods on both sides of the dirt road. It spoke of beginning of a new adventure. That's why I thought what better than baby on the road.

2. The next one depicts Sam being nerdy and Dean being 18 year old big brother annoying Sam. The ratty old chair outside the cabin with a book and a pack of cigarettes.

3. A frustrated Sam, having feelings but not knowing how to work around them. Nothing like a relaxing hot shower in the bathroom. 

4. Sam being a teen in love, doodling the name of his crush on his notebook.  

5. Sam and Patrick visit an old army base where no one lives and the houses are quite broken. It also symbolizes the talk that Sam has with Patrick and the emotions that follow.  

6. It's a grill day. Sam and Patrick bond on their favorite topic: Dean. 

7. It's a joyous occasion because Dad just bought a new truck and handed over Impala to Dean. 

8. Sam while working on his laptop is teased by Dean. It leads to some steamy times sending thrills and shivers down his spine (or does it?)

 9. An afternoon spent near the lake, serene and calm (might I say just before the storm?) 

10. Some words are spoken, some hearts are broken. The smoky heart is symbol of hurtful conversation that takes place over a cigarette.

11. The house has a red door, it's open just an inch. Dean comes home after realizing his mistakes. 

 12. Sam spends some alone time by the lake that gives him chills. Even though it's not winter, it leaves him cold. The misty lake symbolizes encounter Sam has.

13. An evening spent in warm bath tub with some really steamy times...perhaps the boys need it. 

14. The boys preparing for the hunt, Sam writing down the spell in his book and Sam and Dean spending alone time in the car, that leaves them craving. 

15. Some realizations, some heart burn, the angst and then burying the feelings because they can sometimes suffocate you. Not every story is meant for a happily ever after. Some times, life throws you a curve ball which you simply cannot hit right out of the park. Th world doesn't stop though...it moves on, just like the wheels of the bike. 

That's it for now. Fingers crossed our boys get a happy ending soon. They deserve it. Hope you enjoyed reading this post. Let me know what you think.
